Analisis Kualitatif Kebijakan Strategis Negara Dalam Bidang Media Di Era Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract


Pandemi covid-19 menyebabkan krisis dalam media massa di Indonesia. Negara melalui Dewan Pers meluncurkan fellowship jurnalisme perubahan perilaku untuk mengatasi krisis media tersebut. Fellowship jurnalisme perubahan perilaku ini melibatkan ribuan wartawan dan kurator. Mereka harus memproduksi berita minimal 11 berita setiap bulannya untuk memperoleh bantuan keuangan dari negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan ingin mengetahui kebijakan strategis negara dalam bidang media di era pandemik covid-19. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan juga memakai metode studi kasus tipe tunggal holistik. Pendekatan yang memotret konteks yang dinamis merupakan pengertian dari pendekatan kualitatif. Sedangkan studi kasus adalah metode untuk merekam sebuah peristiwa yang memiliki ukuran ruang dan waktu tertentu. Penelitian ini menemukan pertama, ada beberapa langkah strategis yang dilakukan negara dalam membantu media di era pandemik covid-19. Kedua, kualitas berita sangat buruk. Jauh dari standar berita profesional yang dihasilkan wartawan. Jurnalisme yang dikembangkan selama fellowship jurnalisme perubahan perilaku jauh dari jurnalisme berkualitas. Motivasi utama peserta fellowship jurnalisme perubahan perilaku adalah memperoleh uang dari negara, sesuatu yang bertentangan dengan salah satu pilar media, yaitu, independen.
